In 2011, Advance Institute of Business, in partnership with English First, provided corporate training to senior managers of Chinese telecommunications giant China Telecom in the Chinese city of Chengdu.
China Telecom wanted their senior managers to learn western business techniques, which are far different than the Chinese management style. This was part of their international expansion strategy.
The training involved subject areas such as change management, organisational behaviour, strategic marketing, cultural awareness, human resource management, contemporary management, workplace ethics and modern leadership styles.
This was just one of many organisations, universities and schools that Advance Institute of Business conducted training for in China.
